This Refund & Cancellation Policy
outlines the terms under which refunds,
cancellations, and project terminations
are handled by ITBUILDZ (“we”, “us”,
“our”). By engaging our services, you
(“client”, “customer”) agree to this
policy.
ADVANCE PAYMENT (NON-REFUNDABLE)
All projects require a minimum 30%
advance payment before any work begins.

This advance is strictly
non-refundable under all
circumstances
-
It covers initial consultation,
planning, resource allocation,
and project setup
-
Once paid, resources and time
blocks are reserved and cannot
be re-assigned easily
No work will begin without confirmation
of the initial advance payment.
MILESTONE PAYMENTS & REFUNDS
Payments made after the initial 30%
advance are tied to agreed project
milestones.

Each milestone payment covers
work completed for that phase
-
Once a milestone is started or
delivered,
no refund will be
issued for that
milestone
-
If a milestone has not yet
started, a partial refund may be
considered (at our discretion,
minus administrative and
planning costs)
There are
no refunds for completed work,
delivered modules, code,
designs, or documents.
CLIENT-INITIATED CANCELLATION
If the client cancels the project:

The initial 30% advance is
not refundable
-
All completed work up to the
cancellation date must be fully
paid
-
Any pending invoices become
immediately due
-
The client will receive only the
completed and paid deliverables
up to that date
-
No rights to incomplete, unpaid,
or partially completed work will
be granted
Cancellation must be requested in
writing (email confirmation required).
ITBUILDZ-INITIATED CANCELLATION
ITBUILDZ reserves the right to cancel or
pause a project if:

The client fails to provide
required information for 15+
days
-
The client misses payments or
breaches the agreed terms
-
There is abusive, unethical, or
illegal use of our services
-
Project terms are violated in
bad faith
In such cases:
-
The 30% advance remains
non-refundable
-
The client must clear dues for
all completed work
-
All work will stop immediately
after cancellation
REFUNDS FOR SUPPORT / MAINTENANCE PLANS
If the client purchases an AMC or
monthly support plan:
-
Refund requests must be made
within 7 days
of purchase
-
Refunds (if approved) will be
pro-rated based
on time used
-
No refunds are allowed after 7
days once service has begun
THIRD-PARTY COSTS
Refunds do NOT cover any
third-party-related payments such as:
- Domain registration fees
- Hosting charges
- API subscriptions
- Plugin or theme purchases
-
Advertising budget spent
(Google, Meta, etc.)
- Payment gateway/setup costs
These services are controlled by
external vendors and subject to their
policies.
PROJECT DELAYS & ABANDONMENT
If the client abandons the project for
more than 30 days:

The project will be considered
closed
-
No refund will be issued for any
amount paid

Restarting the project will
require a new agreement and new
payment
CHANGE OF SCOPE (NO REFUND)
If the client changes project
requirements mid-way:

Already completed work is
non-refundable
-
Additional cost and time will be
added as per new scope
-
No refunds will be provided due
to change in mind or business
strategy
DISPUTE RESOLUTION
Any disputes regarding refunds or
cancellations shall be:

First resolved through mutual
discussion
-
If unresolved, governed under
Indian laws
-
Handled in the jurisdiction of
Indian courts only
